Mum Stunned After Her Baby Daughter Was Born With Two Fully-Formed Front TEETH

Babies are the most precious gifts in this world, and all parents couldn’t agree more to that. The joy of seeing their child for the very first time is an indescribable feeling. Unfortunately, getting pregnant can be a difficult task for some families. So when the time finally comes, the would-be parents understandably feel a mixture of anticipation and anxiety.

For first-time parents Samantha Lines and Jason Doombs, their baby girl Ella-Rose was definitely a long overdue gift. They had been trying to conceive for years until Samantha finally got pregnant with Ella. But little did the couple know, their little bundle of joy had a few more surprises up her sleeve.

The parents were glad to hear that Ella-Rose was totally healthy, but when the baby opened her mouth for the first time, the nurses were blown away. This baby had teeth!

It had taken years, but Samantha and Jacob were finally able to announce to their friends and family that they were pregnant. The baby was delivered by C-section.

Named Ella-Rose, the newborn girl was given the all-clear by the midwives; she was a perfectly healthy baby. But then, when she opened her mouth, little Ella-Rose gave everyone a big shock!

The midwives couldn’t believe what they were seeing; the little baby had a couple of pearly white teeth on her lower jaw!

Normally, of course, babies are born without teeth and it usually takes around 6 months for teeth to start breaking through the gums. In this instance, however, Ella-Rose had already got two teeth of her own, straight out of the womb!

Samantha revealed her shock at the discovery, “I was completely delirious with all the morphine and other painkillers. Suddenly a midwife said my baby had two front teeth. It was a complete surprise.”

“Everyone was telling me how amazing it was that my baby had front teeth, but I had very little idea of how rare that is. It wasn’t until I came to and somebody told me that it actually sunk in that this was such a unique thing. The doctors have told me that it’s very rare for this to happen.”

The teeth aren’t dangerous for Ella-Rose, but they do pose a peculiar problem: Samantha now needs to be extra careful when breastfeeding her baby girl! The new mom admitted that she’s feeling a little anxious about the idea. Breastfeeding can be problematic enough in regular cases, so this one will be extra difficult.

Despite her concerns, Samantha remains determined to do her best and hopes that it’ll all be fine in the end.

“Her teeth are only small,” Samantha said, “so hopefully it won’t be too painful. I’ve got bottles in case it is too difficult, but it seems fine at the moment.”

There’s also a small risk that Ella-Rose’s teeth might fall out, in which case the little baby might choke on them, so the parents will need to be extra vigilant.

It’s incredibly rare for babies to be born with teeth, but Samantha and Jason are doing their best to figure things out as they go along.

Samantha explained, “I’m not even sure whether or not I should be brushing them or not. They look very delicate, so I don’t know whether I should even be touching them at all.

“It’s just something extra to deal with on top of everything else. You’re trying to learn everything when you’re a new mum, but I need more guidance.”

Although they’re learning, it’s clear that Samantha and Jason will be wonderful parents to Ella-Rose.
