1. Improve Your Wi-Fi Speed
iOS 9 has a feature called Wi-Fi Assist that will help you when your signals a little spotty. If you have poor Wi-Fi connection, turning on Wi-Fi Assist will keep you on the internet by automatically switching you to cellular connection. Wi-Fi Assist is a default setting, but you can turn it off by going to Settings > Cellular. Scroll down until you see “Wi-Fi Assist” and turn it off using the slider. Why would someone want to do this? Well, with certain plans, you could be unknowingly eating up data and could end up with a hefty phone bill. Ouch!
Need to make sure the painting you hung is level? Apple has got you covered. There’s no level app per se, but there is a level feature in the Compass app. Go to the Compass app, then swipe left to get to the next screen (you’ll notice two little dots at the bottom indicating that there’s another screen). Voila! You’ve found the level feature. Now go hang some paintings!

Hate seeing ads when you’re playing a game? There’s a simple hack that will function as an ad blocker – Airplane Mode. Since ads need an internet connection to pop up, if you take away the connection (by putting your phone on Airplane Mode), then you’ll take away their power.
