1. They Don’t Get Paid Enough
Teachers definitely do not get paid enough to deal with all the BS that they have to deal with on a day to day basis. The average salary for a teacher is less than $50,000 a year. Dealing will Terrible Timmy is certainly not worth that kind of cash.
It’s bad enough that they don’t get paid enough, but what they do earn, they wind up having to spend on school supplies. If they don’t do it, who is going to? The correct answer is “A: No one.”
Teachers are like soccer moms times 10. They are always lugging around games, homework, supplies and papers that need to be graded. I hope they have good health insurance so they will be covered when their back goes out from carrying all that crap.
Teachers have to deal with whatever fad is popular at the moment. Fads distract students and make things so much harder and so much more annoying for the teachers. Whether it be some new stupid dance move or fidget spinners, teachers hate fads and rightfully so.
Whenever a new Disney movie comes out, teacher hunker down and brace themselves. They know that they will forever have to hear the songs and will never ever be able to get them out of their head for the rest of their lives. Talk about an ear worm.
In order to deal with children so early in the am, teachers need to pass out extremely early. Like right after they get home from school. Believe it or not, they don’t want school to start that early either.
